Blankedale is a custom-made company based in Tienen with over 850 employees. They focus mainly on co-packing<\/a> (food & non-food). In the food department, they pack frozen, chilled and ambient. The company also has a well-equipped timber department, electrical assembly, green service and a traditional bookbinding shop. Working with Blankedale means that you are trading with a certified partner. They are Brc AA (food), Brc Storage & distribution (food), Bio, Iso-9001,FSc, Ispm-15 certified.<\/p>\n

A good approach<\/strong><\/p>\n

Blankedale built a site entirely for packaging, repackaging and labelling food. Because of the continuous flow in production, they had to work with conveyor belts. For this, they called on Easy Systems. We could provide them with food-tested conveyor belts<\/a> that were easy to maintain. Together, they decided to go for a serrated, closed belt. This because both open and closed foodstuffs were packaged. As a partner in transport systems, we carefully examined their questions and listened to the needs of our customer.<\/p>\n

The desired result<\/strong><\/p>\n

Blankedale is satisfied with the equipment supplied. Bart Dewalheyns explains: “All food rolls smoothly over the conveyors. Among other things, frozen products are packed in boxes on the belt by employees. The boxes themselves are made by the box erector and then also end up on a conveyor belt. So we can’t do without it anymore.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Easy to maintain<\/strong><\/p>\n

Conveyor belts help to ensure a constant flow in production. Blankedale uses the belts to package various products, from windscreen wipers to ice creams. Also important, Blankedale’s cleaning team. They clean all conveyor belts after working hours and are also full of praise for the easy to maintain conveyor belts.<\/p>\n
