Group Nivelles, located in Gingelom, is a producer of materials for bathroom fittings. These include bathroom furniture, stone and artificial showers, washbasins and drains. The production and distribution of all these materials requires an efficient product flow. And it just so happens that product flow optimisation is our speciality.
How do conveyors help you optimise your product flow? They provide time and cost savings. The workload of personnel is reduced and space is used optimally. In close cooperation with our customer, we found the perfect system to optimise their product flow.
From production
For the production of plastic panels, we installed an efficient circulation system. Roller conveyors ensure the supply of empty moulds. These then end up on a conveyor belt. The speed of the conveyor belt is adjusted to the casting machine and the casting moulds. In this way, the moulds are filled with the correct quantity and distribution.
Due to the width of the materials, the roller conveyors and conveyor belt had to be custom built. Thanks to our own team of experienced engineers and mechanics, we always guarantee the best solution.
To the buffer zone
When the moulds have been filled, the panels must harden. This requires a buffer zone. The panels are transferred from the conveyor belt back onto roller conveyors.
To the end result
When the panels have hardened, the moulds are automatically transported to a ball jar table. Here the panels are simply removed. Ready to be used in the bathroom!
The empty moulds go from here back into the circuit to make new panels.
With attention for safety
In every production environment, the necessary attention must be paid to safety. That is why we have placed guards around the conveyors and the casting machine. Of course, we also design and build these ourselves, according to the customer’s needs.
